Please note that this is an extremely complex exercise, there is a great deal of detailed information to absorb and analyse. It is a graduate level or equivalent exercise. Not everyone will be able to complete it successfully.
A group of potential suspects are asked to account for their whereabouts when The Simone Sapphires were stolen. A complex interweaving of alibis and facts must be analysed to find out who is telling the truth and who is lying.
Candidates are asked to read and absorb the information before deciding on their next steps, and eventually reaching a conclusion and identifying the person (or people) who are lying. Findings can be presented as a written report or formal presentation depending on which skills you which to examine (or indeed both can be requested of the candidate)
